Sheet metal bending support

The sheet metal bending support for the PSL hydraulic press consists of:

• Punch
• Bending die
• Clamping brackets for the bending die
• Die holder

The standard bending support allows V-bending operations. When a higher precision level is required, the use of a bending support with a micrometric adjustment system is recommended.

The micrometric adjustment allows the operator to set the exact desired angle with extreme precision.

This is done through a special knob on the rear part of the bending support, which acts on the vertical movement, raising or lowering the bending die for optimal angle adjustment. This system allows the operator to achieve accurate and repeatable bending, significantly reducing the margin of error.

Both the bending die and the punch are produced in-house by SICMI, according to the technical specifications required by the customer.
