Metal safety guards – PMM

The hydraulic press is supplied as standard with a metal guard placed between the columns of the machine.

This guard secures the area of the transverse movement of the upper mobile frame.

Furthermore, additional retractable metal guards can be installed as an accessory; these guards secure the two sides and the rear of the pressing area.

The guards are equipped with a safety sensor that detects the guard position: when the guard is open, the press is blocked and cannot operate.

The safety sensor can also be configured so that when the guard is opened during the pressing phase, the hydraulic cylinder immediately reverses its stroke.
