Automatic piston stroke increase
The automatic stroke increase of the hydraulic cylinder is an accessory for hydraulic straightening presses.
This function allows you to set a fixed piston descent quota via the touchscreen display.
For example, if you set an initial stroke of 360 millimeters and an automatic increment of 3 millimeters, each time the double buttons are pressed, the piston will descend by 3 millimeters at a time.
We will therefore start at a height of 360 mm, then move on to 363 mm, then to 366 mm and so on.
At each step the operator will be able to check whether the desired level of straightening has been achieved or whether it is necessary to continue with the process.
Thanks to this function, the operator always has full control over the piston’s descent and, consequently, the straightening of the piece, thus minimizing the risks associated with completely manual straightening. Without this accessory, the operator would be forced to try and apply the straightening manually, risking pressing the piece too hard and potentially deforming it excessively.
Furthermore, if the press is equipped with a laser device, it is possible to measure the deformation of the metal in real time.
The automatic piston increment values can be viewed both on the touchscreen display and on the screen on the gantry. The data measured by the laser device are visible on the screen above the upright and on a small display on the control panel.
